BrawnPro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

BrawnPro ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides a business management and point-of-sale ("POS") platform for home service businesses, available via the web and as a mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the BrawnPro POS app and platform collect, how that information is used, where it is stored, and the choices and rights available to you. This policy applies to businesses that use BrawnPro ("Business Users," "you") as well as to the end customers of those businesses whose information is entered into the Service ("Customers").

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create a BrawnPro account, we collect your name, email address, business name, phone number, and password. If you sign up via Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that provider.

1.2 Customer Information (Entered by Business Users)

As part of using the Service, Business Users enter information about their own customers into the platform, including:

  • Customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses
  • Physical / service addresses (used for job scheduling and directions)
  • Job history, notes, and communication records

This customer information is entered and controlled by the Business User, who is the data controller for their own customer records. BrawnPro acts as a data processor / service provider with respect to this data, storing and processing it solely to provide the Service.

1.3 Photos and Media

The BrawnPro app allows Business Users to capture and upload job site photos (e.g., before/after photos, damage documentation, completed work) using the device camera or photo library. Photos may be tagged with descriptive keywords, job or customer associations, and timestamps. The app requests camera and photo library permissions solely to allow you to capture new photos or select existing photos to attach to jobs, estimates, invoices, or forms. Photos are uploaded and stored only when you actively choose to attach them to a record within the app.

1.4 Digital Signatures

The Service includes digital signature capture for estimates, invoices, work orders, and other forms. Signatures are captured as an image (the drawn signature) along with the signer's name, the associated document, and a timestamp, and are stored as part of the relevant business record.

1.5 Business Data

Information you enter or generate while using the Service, including invoices, estimates, job logs, form submissions, inventory data, calendar entries, notes, and internal communications ("Business Data"). You retain full ownership of all Business Data you input into the Service.

1.6 Location Information

With your permission, the app may access your device's location to provide driving directions to customer job site addresses, estimate travel time, and support location-relevant features such as job routing. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings; disabling location access may limit certain features (such as turn-by-turn directions) but will not prevent general use of the app.

1.7 Device and Bluetooth Information

To support connectivity with Bluetooth receipt printers and other paired hardware used at the point of sale, the app accesses Bluetooth device information (such as nearby device names and connection status) and basic device information (device model, operating system version, app version). This information is used only to discover, pair with, and print to supported hardware and to support and troubleshoot the Service.

1.8 Payment Information

If you or your customers make payments through the Service, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We may store limited billing information such as billing name, billing address, and the last four digits of a payment method for record-keeping and receipt purposes.

1.9 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how the Service is accessed and used, including IP address, browser or app version, device type and operating system, pages or screens viewed, features used, and referring URLs.

1.10 Cookies and Similar Technologies

The web application uses essential cookies for authentication, session management, and user preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including the POS, invoicing, scheduling, and job documentation features
  • Enable job site photo capture, tagging, and attachment to jobs, estimates, and invoices
  • Capture and store digital signatures on estimates, invoices, and forms as legally binding acknowledgments
  • Provide driving directions and route information to customer addresses
  • Connect to and print through Bluetooth-enabled receipt printers and other supported hardware
  • Process payments and manage billing for both Business Users and their customers
  • Send transactional communications such as appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices, and receipts (via email or SMS)
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and other illegal activity
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax and recordkeeping requirements

We do not use Customer PII, photos, or signatures for advertising or sell this information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

BrawnPro syncs your data to servers operated at brawnpro.com. Specifically:

  • Structured data (customer records, invoices, estimates, job logs, form submissions, account information) is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database, hosted in the United States, encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • Media files — including job site photos and captured signature images — are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the app or browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS).
  • Authentication: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plaintext.
  • Access Controls: We implement role-based access controls within accounts and limit internal employee access to user data on a need-to-know basis.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly investigating and addressing any security incidents.

4. Third-Party Services

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of BrawnPro, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to affected users where feasible). We do not sell your personal information or your customers' personal information to third parties.

5. Device Permissions

The BrawnPro mobile app requests the following device permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:

  • Camera: To capture job site photos directly within the app.
  • Photo Library: To select existing photos to attach to jobs, estimates, invoices, or forms.
  • Location: To provide driving directions to customer addresses and support location-relevant scheduling features.
  • Bluetooth: To discover, pair with, and print receipts or documents to supported Bluetooth printers and other point-of-sale hardware.

You may deny or revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device settings. Doing so will disable the related feature but will not prevent use of the rest of the app.

6. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Data, including photos, signatures, and business records, is retained for the duration of your active account.
  • Cancelled Accounts: After cancellation, we retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for account reactivation, after which it will be deleted or anonymized.
  • Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of specific records (such as a customer's information, a photo, or a signature) or your entire account at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Legal Requirements: We may retain certain records, such as billing and transaction records, as required by applicable law (e.g., for tax purposes).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, photos, signatures, or account data.
  • Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw Consent: Revoke camera, photo library, location, or Bluetooth permissions at any time via device settings.
  • Opt Out: Opt out of non-essential SMS or email communications at any time.

If you are a Customer of a business using BrawnPro and wish to exercise these rights over your information, we recommend contacting that business directly, as they control their own customer records. You may also contact us at info@brawnpro.com and we will coordinate with the relevant Business User as needed. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
